Hello everyone, my name's Chris ( ~HeightField )

Since the previous owner, ( =astarsia ) has recently had far too much on her plate, she has allowed me to step in to run the club. It's been a long time since any administrative work has been done, so I apologise if we've been a bit late responding to you.

I've managed to work the message count down from a couple of hundred to eleven. A lot of these were join requests and art submissions. It took a while, but I've managed to enter every member that applied. As for submissions, since I don't want to flood all of the member's message centers, I've decided not to post them. I've kept every submission, so if you want yours posted just send me a note and it'll go up.

I still have a lot to work out, so I ask that you please be a little patient with me. If you notice I've missed something, feel free to note me and tell me about it. I know this club was once a thriving community due to astarsia's hard work, but hopefully we can revive it to it's former glory.

I apologise for the 2 months of silence. i cant go into why, but i can say that all of the notes [about 50+] have now been dealt with and read and submissions have been submitted, and joins have been added and members have been loved so much that i dont know what to do. wow.. there was heaps... anyway ..

Ok i've updated again, but i havent looked ath the competitions to see when they end. at this point in time, i still only have dial up so i can only update every now and then, because of the amount of notes i get.
Unfortuantely i didnt get through all of the notes, im sorry. i've been at it a long time tonight, i need to sleep now.

And also people are heading back to school an getting very busy - soon the australian holidays will be here, and that might release a few students into drawing mode, but at this point in time, i'll relax and let the current comp wait til i have my adsl. as dial up is just simply too tiring.

So be good everyone and keep submitting, even tho im taking a while, they will all be submitted. please try to keep the submissions at a reasonable size, i will not downsize peoples work, for a submission. on dial up, i cant submit huge pictures. sorry.

by the way, any fan fic you wanna submit, go for it!

Ok, so i've just gone through about 50 msgs in the clubs inbox.
To clear something up, this club will not vote for their members at other clubs contests, simply because that would cause a biasity, and this club, although run by me, is not MINE as such, it belongs to everybody who is a member of this club. it belongs to deviant art. and it is a community club. I will not negate any biasity. Sorry if that upsets members, but I will not do that, in the fact that it can create problems between members.

Onto other matters, we have gained, aproximately about 30 new members. i think. That includes affiliates. Thats TONNS.
and because of this.. I'm making a new competition. The new competition will be revealed in the competition journal (pay attention to the links below)

One of the new members asked right away if they could be admin. That really blew me away, because i dont think anybody had offered in the past.
I have said no at this point, because.. well.. the main reason is because im very very picky about this club, and extremely hard up about who gets their paws on it. Even tho i run another club myself and its heaps smaller, in comparison, and it has an admin helping me staff it.. i really feel very protective of FFC over the other one. (~Rikku-club for those who are interested in which one i'm talking about)

anyway... so like i said i'm gunna do another competition. So many people are here and eager.. lets get it underway. good luck everyone.
